As the UK’s market leader in size 14+ womenswear, we’re known for championing feminine styles that are made to fit, flatter and define the figure. We firmly believe beauty comes from confidence and a celebration of shape, in short, we empower our customers, encouraging a new way of thinking and celebrating the positive aspects of every woman’s body.
From lingerie and beachwear to casual daywear and dressy looks for a night out, our many lines are designed to look great and offer clothing solutions to make you feel fantastic. Further supporting our body confidence message, we have worked with some inspirational, stylish and driven women over the years, each with a different opinion on shape and size.
Britain’s best-loved comedienne Dawn French launched a line with us in the nineties, while in the noughties, plus size supermodel Crystal Renn – a woman whose curves and opinion on body image have been much courted by the world’s top glossies – became the face of Evans.
Following this successful partnership, music icon Beth Ditto created a sensation with an eclectic and vibrant collection shot by infamous photographer Rankin. For Spring/Summer 2012 designers Clements Ribeiro will continue to add to the kudos of successful partnerships with a bespoke range that will be exclusive to Evans.
We have just launched a major initiative to revolutionise the high street by helping women to shop by shape as well as size. Our extensive research has identified four key body shapes; Busty, Apple, Pear and Hourglass.
This just goes to show that we’re as excited as ever about finding new ways to move our offering forward and to continue creating amazing fashion for our equally amazing customers.
