- In 2007 Outfit teamed up with The Samaritans, taking part in a 24:7 fundraising event and selling pin badges, proceeds from which went towards supporting the emotional support charity.
- In 1999 when Outfit had 12 stores it became part of the Arcadia Group.
- In the 1990s, Outfit’s then parent company Sears spotted a major gap in the market. With increasing restrictions on the development of large shopping malls, Sears recognised out-of-town retail parks as a potential-packed new alternative. Sears jumped at the chance to sell all its fashion brands in one place and a brilliant retail concept was born.
- The gamble paid off and today Outfit is proud to call itself the UK’s leading multi-brand, out-of-town fashion store.
