A definitive Topman customer is hard to pin down, it’s a pretty diverse crowd and that’s something we’re really proud of. In one corner are the trend conscious bright-young-things who snap up the most fashion forward pieces on their way to the latest clubs. In another corner is the man who wants to top-up his wardrobe with essential basics and classic fashion staples, kitting himself out with affordable sharp tailoring. Then there are the Sub-cultural groups largely driven by the music scene. Cue indie boys comparing cardigans and the new-rave crew enthusing over neon and retro sportswear. What unites these various man-tribes is the brilliant variety on offer, all found under one roof at Topman.
At the heart of Topman's business is a reliable in-house designed main range which revolves around the latest trends and is refreshed on a monthly basis. In addition, we also have TOPMAN LTD which sits alongside the main range with an added focus on fit, detail and fabrication. Then there is TOPMAN DESIGN which focuses directly on developing more individual, design-led clothing and pushing trends harder. Since its launch in 2005, TOPMAN DESIGN now shows seasonally at London Fashion Week, suggesting that we’re getting things spot-on. Topman is dedicated to new talent, which is demonstrated by the various projects that have involved emerging designers. Names such as Kim Jones, Markus Lupfer, Peter Jensen, Todd Lynn, JW Anderson, Tim Hamilton, and James Small keep our offering fresh.
In addition to fashion, we’re pretty hot on music too. We have our own music platform called CTRL which has included our own TV show on Channel 4. This year it is all about following the feed at where Huw Stephens and guest controllers will guide you through the best music of 2012.

The website includes over 1700 products (over 100 of which are added weekly), trend videos, blogs and stylist tips.
- The Personal Shopping Lounge was created exclusively for Topman by acclaimed interior designer Lee Broom and it offers a beer and a game on the XBOX, is completely complimentary and there is no obligation to buy. The aim is to simplify the time spent shopping and provide maximum choice to the customer.
- Topman designs have won inclusion at the world’s coolest retail emporia including London’s Selfridges, Barney’s New York, Fred Segal in LA, Opening Ceremony both in New York and LA, La Foret in Japan, Colette in Paris and Shine in Hong Kong and Bejing.
