Profile

Isabelle German
Project Support Co-ordinator
My role is to manage the Project Support Team that co-ordinates all orders on store development projects. I’m a key contact between the Project Managers, the suppliers, the senior management team, Store Development and the brands.
I identify the requirements for each project and raise all orders ensuring they stay within the approved budget. That includes flooring, fixtures, visual merchandising, lighting, furniture for back of house areas, security tags and so on. I provide support to the Project Manager on a daily basis to ensure projects run smoothly, deal with any queries from the brand team, both on changes to direct orders and in fixtures. I also liaise with suppliers to make sure that all deliveries are on time and correct for handover.
I started my career at Arcadia as Team Secretary for IT in 1999 and then became PA to the IT Director. In March 2005 I joined Store Development as a Project Support Assistant for Topshop/Topman and I have recently been promoted to Project Support Co-ordinator.
I feel lucky to have worked with great teams throughout my time at Arcadia, Being able to work as part of a team is key. In this team we work under pressure and meet very short deadlines so have to develop good working relationships with suppliers as well as with the brand.
What I love most about my job is the end result, walking into one of our stores and knowing that I was involved with bringing it together.
Working for Arcadia is a great opportunity to be part of a winning team. The Group provides such a diverse choice of career paths, from Merchandising and Buying to IT and Finance.
