Introducing Distribution

If you like to juggle tasks, then you’ll love distribution. The function provides a crucial link between head office and our stores, co-ordinating across buying, merchandising, international trading, logistics and store operations to ensure our stock is where it should be, when it should be.

Our distributions teams have a strong appreciation of just how fast our business operates. Fashion is about reacting quickly to the latest trends and ensuring that the hottest product hits down at the peak of demand. For that reason, distributors are actively involved with making key product decisions for the business.

Based within our brand teams, distributors analyse sales trends, branch and stock performance to keep our stores on target and fully stocked with the product our customers demand.

The Role

You’ll start out as a Distributor, supporting the team by analysing sales, monitoring stock figures and ensuring the stock gets to the store on time in the correct quantity to maximise profits.

Your Development

Our competencies will give you a clear idea of what’s expected from day one and will support you in your career path. You’ll then progress to become a Senior Distributor and ultimately a Stock Distribution Manager. Often the role leads into a career in Merchandising. This role is available across our Brands, including exciting opportunities in Bhs within Childrenswear, Home and Gifts.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll need analytical skills, a talent for communicating and team working abilities. We’ll expect you to have a degree (or equivalent) in any analytical subject.

Starting salary
