Introducing Finance

You’re mistaken if you think working in finance at Arcadia is just about number crunching. Our finance teams do much more than just punch figures into spreadsheets. They are a vital part of the brand teams; key to ensuring our commercial focus is pin sharp and help to shape the overall brand strategy and direction.

We have finance teams based in both our London and Leeds head office locations. The brand-based teams in London co-ordinate budgets, plans and forecasts for their businesses and drive out weekly and monthly trading reports. All these activities help our product teams understand how our ranges are performing.

Our Accounting Centre in Leeds is where we produce the financial and management accounts for all of the brands and our head office functions. It’s here that we process all our transactional activities including; payroll, accounts payable/receivable, stock accounting, credit control, statutory accounting and data services.

Your Development

Based in London, our Finance Graduate Programme called ’Exceed’ is designed to provide you with exposure across the key areas of our business. You’ll have three placements focusing on Buying and Merchandising, Retail and Group Finance.

As you move around your placements, you’ll have the opportunity to work with different teams in different brands, which will equip you with the skills and behaviours you’ll need to be successful in moving into your first permanent role after the programme, ideally at finance manager level.

We also support our finance graduates through professional qualifications in CIMA or ACCA with a mix of studies and practical experience. You are able to choose which qualification you would like to study at the start of the programme.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll need to be a high calibre graduate with excellent numeracy skills. A business or finance degree is preferred.

Starting Salary

How To Apply

We recruit for our Finance programme three times a year. We will be opening the next recruitment cycle at the end of August. Please keep an eye on this website for further notice on exact dates. Be aware applications will close as soon as they are full so apply as soon as you can. Also take into consideration your availability to start, apply to the programme closest to when you are able to start work. Estimates of start dates for these intakes are; January, April and September
