Size Matters - Evans Reveal Their Latest Campaign

They are beautiful, successful and the opinion shapers of the future - the only thing that sets them apart from their 'supermodel' counterparts is their size.

Evans the UK's leading shape specialists decided to celebrate the female form and showcase size 16 models in a way that hadn't been done before, by focusing on their beauty and curves in a celebratory shoot. Leading the pack is the face of Evans, Crystal Renn, who has not only triumphed in her modelling career by being photographed by some of the industry's most acclaimed photographers such as Steven Meisel, Patrick Demarchelier and most recently Terry Richardson for V Magazine. She has also graced the pages of America, French and Italian Vogue and appeared on the catwalk for Jean Paul Gaultier, but has now become an accomplished writer with the launch of her new book, aptly named 'Hungry'.

Commenting on the shoot, Gary Dakin VicePresident of Ford Models in the US said: "I am thrilled to be part of this amazing shoot. These supermodels of the 'plus' industry are making you forget their size. It is women like these that are going to knock down the final barriers, showing they are some of the best at what they do by modelling for some of the key opinion formers and brands within the fashion world.

In addition the latest Brit sensation Hayley Morley was also photographed. She caused a stir during London Fashion Week in 2009 by appearing on the catwalk at Mark Fast's show and attracted worldwide attention and comment from the fashion press for it being too radical to have a plus size model showcase his collections. The other leading models that took part in the shoot are Peeky, Amber, Britney and Anansa, the daughter of Beverly Johnson, who was the first African American woman to be on the cover of US Vogue (not featured in the above shot).

This powerful, dynamic and unique image embraces the fact that we are not all the same and that having something different about us is what's important. Evans have proved this with the recent launch of the Beth Ditto collection and will continue to make it their 'big mission' to break down perceptions and showcase fashion in a way that is wearable, on trend and most importantly, provides the perfect fit.
