Evans

In early 2006 the brand announced a new charity partner, Breakthrough Breast Cancer, and kicked off the association by taking part in the charity's annual Crocus Walk in London's Hyde Park.

The brand sells Breakthrough's iconic pink target t-shirts and for October 2007 the brand marked national breast cancer month with the sale of a specially designed handbag. For each £20 bag sold, £5 has been donated to Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

The new partnership was chosen because breast cancer is known to be an area of concern for Evans customers. It follows on from a hugely successful association with children's mobility charity Whizz-Kidz, for which the brand raised £300,000.

Meanwhile, teams from Evans' head office joined forces in autumn 2007 to donate their time to help children, teachers and families at a London charity for autism education. The volunteers created a garden area and designed and painted a mural in the children's playground at the TreeHouse.
