Outfit
Out of town retailer Outfit, is delighted to announce the chains new charity partner for 2008 - Macmillan Cancer Support.
Each year Outfit teams up with a different charity to help raise valuable funds and awareness.
All of Outfit’s 33 stores will be involved in the fundraising activities, from selling the exclusively designed Macmillan bag charms, to store staff coming into work in their pyjamas. The money raised will help people living with cancer get through every day life. Macmillan improves the lives of people affected by cancer by providing practical, emotional and financial support.
Dale Haden, Outfit Marketing Manager commented, “Outfit hopes to help raise awareness about Macmillan Cancer Support and to make people realise there is more to the charity than just Macmillan Nurses”.
Jason Suckley, Head of Corporate Partnerships and Events at Macmillan says, “We are extremely excited to be Outfit’s new charity partner. Not only will it help to raise money for people living with cancer but also to raise awareness of the breadth of support that we provide.”
Bag charms are now available for a suggested donation of £2, with all proceeds going to Macmillan Cancer Support. Visit your local Outfit store for further details.
