Wallis
Wallis has rounded up enough celebrities to fill an entire red carpet with its charm bracelet and necklace projects for Cancer Research UK.
In 2005 the brand rounded up a host of celebrities, including Victoria Beckham, Yasmin Le Bon, Sienna Miller and Damien Hirst to design charms for a bracelet that sold out within minutes, raising - more than £750,000. This included a one-off fine jewellery version of the bracelet and its charms, which was created by jeweller Boodles and auctioned at Sotheby's.
For its follow-up project in 2007, the brand created a matching necklace with the charms provided by five well-known names from fashion, TV and film. Hollywood favourite Scarlett Johansson, comedienne Catherine Tate, artist Grayson Perry, shoe designer Christian Louboutin, jeweller Stephen Webster and fashion icon Kate Moss all provided the charm designs.
Again, the jewellery was an instant sell-out. Sold exclusively through Wallis stores and the brand's website, 25,000 of the necklaces were made, selling for £25 each with £10 going to the charity.
