Students from the Fashion Retail Academy in London recently had the opportunity to present a marketing strategy for the New Topshop Topman ‘Considered’ range.
As part of their course, 12 groups worked over 3 days to concept and mock-up a marketing campaign which was presented to the company’s sustainability team. 7 teams then had the opportunity to visit our head office and discuss their strategy with the Topshop Topman Chief Communications Officer.
Not only is this a valuable opportunity for students to connect directly with the industry but also provides our brands unique access to insights from our customers.
As a founding partner of the FRA we are always eager and excited to work collaboratively with students and the faculty. This is just one of the projects we are involved in; the sustainability team has meet with students to inform them about social and environmental sustainability issues and colleagues across the group are also part of the mentoring scheme which enables students to gain help, advice and guidance from retail professionals, putting them in good stead to build their own careers.
